Is there software for gmail for Windows 10?

I'm deciding to move away from windows mail because I don't always get notifications as they arrive, if there is a Gmail program/App is it reliable?

Ummm how does LiberOffice work for emails, The reason I came on here to ask was because I didn't know, so searching would have been no good.
