Is there software that picks out duplicated files on your pc?

I have about 250gigs of data on a single hdd. I have a lot of it backed up on cd/dvd, but there is lots of stuff that isn't backed up. I need some specific software and this is what i want to do.

Example. I want to be able to insert a disc with mp3's on, load up this software im talking about, and let it search for that exact data on the hdd so i can delete it and free up some space. I want it to search folders/subfolders/zipped etc. I will have to go through all my discs, but the end result will be data left on the hdd that isn't on any of the cd's so i can burn it off, then delete it.

just be careful how you use these programs
dont delete everything without checking
because some programs use the same files and have there copy of the file in there folder
and it will be flagged as a dup, if its deleted the program will not work, even though you have a copy else where
