We all know how useful two monitors can be. Being able to maximise two application at the same time knowing that you can see them both without either focussing over the other etc...
With some of the new bigger monitors (eg: 20" widescreen) is it possible with some sort of software to set up two virtual monitors. ie: Split it two thirds and one third and then the in effect you have two virtual monitors on just the one, with all the advantage that gives?
So for example, with the above example, you dedicate the right third of your monitor to watching a film, or having outlook open or something, but then on the left two thirds you can browse or do something else etc... Knowing that you will not have to concerned with focussing or size issues as application will be contained within their "virtual monitor" space.
