is there software that monitors temps on screen?
like fraps monitor fps during games, im after one that monitors temps in games

not sure, but a lot of the temp apps will show you the min/max temps, so after you exit the game you would no how high it went, think thats the closest you will get. i wanted something that would show, or atleast log the memory and cpu usage while playing a game, to see if anything was actually pushing it at all, but nothing is around that i could find.

You can use HWMointer to see max temps when you leave the game, If you are looking to find GPU temps get GPUZ and you can set it up so it logs the temps to a .txt file every second or so.

Personally i have a Logitech G15, its great using "Sirreal's LCD Panel App" you can see CPU and Mem usage and if you open up Speedfan, it also alows you to see CPU Temps as well as Volts ect.

Just get a cheapo 15 inch monitor and run temp monitoring programs on that while your in game. shouldnt cost more that £20-£30

Rivatuner can at the very least overlay your GPU temps on screen, I think there's plugins for other components too but don't hold me to that!

Cant you just run Task Manager in the back ground and have a look when you exit the game?
