Thinking of building a SFF system with a few spare components I have (3100, 1650 Super, MX500). Just need a case, motherboard and RAM. And maybe a PSU as I only have a couple of old PSUs (a ~12 year old Antec 380W and a ~13 year old Corsair 550W), both seem to work fine but I know the PSU police till tell me to bin them both! What's a decent, affordable, efficient ~450W PSU these days? That'll fit!
Whilst this system will be getting my old 3100 - it would be good to retain the option of a 5000 series upgrade a few years down the line, most likely only the six core 5600X, or 65W 8 core if that ever happens. Thinking of the Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO.
A quick look as suggested the Thermaltake Core V1 mini-ITX as being the ideal case, some good reviews, seems easy to work with and has a nice 200mm fan... but it's around 6 years old now, is there anything more recent that's (a) as good and (b) as cheap?
