Hi there,

Here is my 3000+ 1.8 GHz processor running at 2.8GHz. Have just run Prime 95 for an hour and a half. Can see in picture. I would like some clver clogs seal of approval that its stable and if not what i can do to prove that it is.

Thanks in advance

you may want to try a few stress testing apps such as OCCT and S&M. An hour and a half is not enough for prime95 im afriad, it should be left running for 6+ hours.

ran super pi at 32m digits and it worked. ok ill leave it on tomorrow when im out and get some one to check it every so often.

thanks mate. yeah i was so surprised to get it going at that speed. sandra has it just lower than fx-57. suppose thats were the l2 cache comes into play. not bad though for a 85 quid OEM chip and 30 quid air cooler.

Run SP2004.exe small ffts, at the same time run Prime95 and choose the max heat/power option, then load up Super PI and run the 32mb test! :)

Also while the first 2 options are running load and loop a decent 3D demo.

Leave that running for 24 hours and if it passes your PC is *Bullet Proof!*

and really, how important is 100% stability anyway, so long as it does what you want it do do witout any noticable errors..... maybe I'm to much of an optimist
