Is This a 275 GTX Problem Or Windows 7??

Good to see some are getting replaced or refunded. overclockers appear to be claiming it to be not faulty. even though it is.
so going to have to do a load of phoning up just to get them to replace or refund aswell as them to give me money back for making me pay for them to send the faulty gpu back to me. I am not a happy chappy with overclockers right now.

Now having to contact trading standards with the dispute, won't be using this company again after this.

It is shame to hear that. I have never had an issue with Overclockers (2 RMAs in 7 years) or any internet computer shop for that matter when it comes to an RMA.

I had to RMA a 5800GT once (not with Overclockers) then the replacement had the same fault so it went back and then the next replacement (different make this time around) caught fire within 30 seconds of being installed. Every time not a single issue with the RMA process.

must admit so far BFG have been very good I am posting it of to them next week will let you know how things go from there, think mine seems to be a overheating problem as with the fan on auto no matter what the temps get upto it still only runs at 40%, using evga precision i have manually upt the fan speed to 60% and no more problems in game, BFG have still asked me to RMA it as its not right

How did you get EVGA Precision to work with your BFG, i was sure when i tried it it said that it could find a compatable GFX card or something
 
I recently purchased a sparkle 275gtx from overclockers and i too have had lots of trouble with this card dropping to the desktop during games and crashing, I noticed the error saying the video driver had stopped responding but it would then vanish an the game would resume, I tried loads of things from changing my psu from a 750watt to a 680watt, i put the card into another pc with windows xp to rule out my win7 an it was the same. I changed drivers from 190.62 to 190.38 and then to 185.85 again all with the same results.
At the worst my graphics corrupted as showing in the links below. This is the batman AA game that came free with the card.

One thing i did notice was this seemed to happening mainly in physx enabled games such as batman AA and Mirrors edge, I played Cod4 for about 40mins an had no crashing although the frame rates seemed low and game play was sluggish, but physx games would mess up after 15min or less, even nvidias physx screensaver crashed.

Once i put my 8800gts back in all games worked perfectly in both my win7 system and the xp system.

I contacted overclockers an was given a RMA number an have since returned the card but ive noticed they are currently out of stock of the card and am curious as to what will happen now.

I had the exact happen to me with a 8800GTX, i returned it to OCUK - I had to wait 28 days for a replacment

If this doesn't fix it, check your PSU is powerful enough, then if that doesn't help then RMA it.

I have a 750watt hiper psu which is powerfull enough for the card.
I send it back to overclockers today so hopefully soon ill know.
I did note that the sparkle card has higher clock speeds that most of the 275gtx cards and i have to say the graphic corruption that i was seeing in the screenshots ive only ever seen in heavily overclocked/overheating cards.
After reading in this thread it would seem there are issues with the overclocked cards.
