sometime I randomly get a white screen with some lines, it could happen after 1 day or 1 week.
Simply turning off and on the monitor will fix it. But I just wonder if that a fault?
The monitor is Acer XZ321Q Gaming Monitor (31.5 inch Curved 1800R LED with FreeSync, 144Hz)
I run the monitor at 144Hz on my GTX1070, I have read that I shouldn't run it at that refresh rate with nvidia gpu but I am not sure if that maybe the cause of my flickering issue?

hmm I didnt think so, plus its a lot of money to spend on a 1080 monitor too, maybe send it back ..and look at something better for near the same price ?

I know It is overpriced now, but I got it for 200£ + 100£ shipping to my country, sending it back is not option for me, buying new monitor will be cheaper than sending it back.
I am trying just some tips maybe it will fix it, like using lower refresh rate, and I removed the display port cable and put an HDMI cable, and waiting to see if the issue will happen again.

Do you have it running at 144hz using adaptive sync or is it fixed at 144hz. I would try limiting the refresh rate to 60 then increasing that to see if it goes wrong at a certain frequency. I think you need to disable any gsync settings in the Nvidia control panel and see if freesync needs to be disabled on the monitor.
Andi.

it is fixed at 144hz, when I was using the display port, I had options to change different refresh rate from 60 to 144hz, now I changed to hdmi and only 144hz is showing and I can't choose lower refresh rates.

There is no option to disable the freesync, is overdrive the same as freesync? if yes, it is already disabled

why did you choose a freesync monitor when you have a nvidia card and why would you pay for something that charges £100 delivery?? are you nuts? you from the UK im assuming if you paid in £, i have a rule.... NEVER buy large expensive items from anywhere thats difficult to return cause theres allways that chance you'll have a problem especially with monitors.
i dont mean to make you feel bad but.... yeah you really shouldent have bought that monitor especially where ever you ordered it from.... i tend to stick to amazon, or scan for computer parts. good trusty websites that have good conveniant delivery services. even if it costs a little more. its allways worth ordering from somewhere you are safe to return faulty items too.

ok guys, I will just wait if the same issue happens again with hdmi, if it happens I will contact Amazon and see the available solutions.
