Is this a bed bug or a beetle?

Just found the little scamp scurrying across my duvet. He was about 2mm long. Looked a bit big for a bedbug. Can’t identify it online.

Yeah, I think you’re right. It looks like the Varied Carpet Beetle.

Problem solved. At least we’ve had a good old fashioned ID this bug thread. No mention of queen wasps though, place is slacking.
