My set up as per my sig.

I must say I'm really impressed with this setup, it's absolutely rock solid !
Definately the best mobo I've ever had.

Should I be satisfied with this :

11 X 255 idle 36c underload 44c RAM : 1T 3 4 4 8 , all at stock volts.

The Sapphire X1900XT at GP :679 GM :765 idle 41c underload 69c

I have the same mobo and CPU as you and I have them running the same as yours, although Im using the stock cooling with the same tems as you, getting a freezer pro tomorrow though.

That overclock is very nice mate, if you up the volts a bit you should be able to get 2.9-3.0GHz I'd imagine.

thanks for the reply, I might see about that freezer pro !
This upgrade is the most straight forward I've ever done. Usually you get some conflict or other, but the setup has never faltered once.

BTW. My BIOS is 1009. The only slight query I have is on the Asus BIOS update. It never manages to connect to Asus.com.tw. Is it best to download the update direct and install manually ?

Yes! Download the bios update from the Asus website then install it using the bios update software... I am runnin 1009 on mine.
