Is this a decent overclock?

Guys, a noob at overclocking in general however only just exploring an OC on my GPU. I've read some flash their bios & do all sorts but I've decided to stay simple & follow some instructions using MSI AB.

EDIT: Can someone please "sense check" my settings are not in danger of any damage in the long run?

You are well protected on stock bios. Things will go wrong on a driver level well before you are able to fry anything. Even if temps go beyond comfort, the stock bios will throttle your clocks.

You have some way to go depending on the card. My 780 classi tops out at near enough 1300MHz core on stock bios. My MSI gaming OC cards reach a comfortable 1250MHz core on stock max volts.

I use clocks between 1150-1200MHz core for 24/7.

Is your card the EX OC or HOF card? If the former you're doing pretty well then as it's a reference bios/pcb, if it's the HOF you should be able to push it much higher, those cards are designed for an OC.

Thank you guys, I'm running the non HOF version unfortunately so is good to know I am getting some sort of OC at least :P

I'm using Metro Last Light as a benchmark for artefacts & BSOD, seems quite a GPU intensive game

Can't be a stock ref 780 as the power limit is 112% not 106%. Kfa2 hof?

You'll also have to show us the max core speed via gpuz sensor tab or msiab log. What gpuz says you boost to and what you actually hit are two different things.
