this is my first time purchasing a gaming computer, i decided with pre-built since knowing myself i would probably mess it up.
i had a budget of around £500 and this is what i came up with;

AMD X4 Raid" AMD FX-4 4100 3.6GHz DDR3 Quad Core Gaming System
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-344-OE

and the upgrades were
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD
MSI HD 7750 2048MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

altogether it comes to £485, i was wondering if thats the best build i can get for £500?

also i was wondering if i could get better specs if i created the pc myself? and if so if anybody could help me out with that to get?

I wouldn't be buying it.
Crippled 7750, pretty naff CPU when it launched and it hasn't exactly aged great (And it's not even 2 years old)

You're looking at a 7790/7850 system with an FX6300 at that price.
ok thanks for the info
Get somebody to spec you a PC for you to build in the general hardware section, you will get much more for your money!

oh ok, i was going through the threads and i assumed this was that section thanks

is there anybody in particular i can pm to move this thread or should i just create a new one?
