Is this a good deal?

Well it's not on offer, so i don't think it would. It's not an HD monitor, but it's a good price. Whatever's important to you. I'm personally not a fan of coloured tints, but if you like it then go for it.

Never seen the price that low for it, it used to be about £180, so is it worth buying that now because it's so cheap, is it likely to go up again?

Trust me thats a very good deal! I bought the 20 inch model for about the same price a few months ago and love it. For the extra 2 inches and for a price that is probably cheaper then what i paid for the 20" i'd snatch it up. I honestly can't fault samsung in terms of quality, got 3 samsung hdtvs and that 20 inch monitor, all excellent.
 
Not comparing it to anything it's a very nice monitor and at that price it's well worth it. I saw it in a shop once and thought wow. Nice rich colours and sharp.
