Is this a good drill?

We bought two to use on Concorde last christmas.

Ours are the 14.4V ones and they have outlasted a Black and Decker and a De-walt that where bought later than ours :)

They be V. Good :)

18v and 2 Batterys and a 1 hour charger and all made by Makita. YES mate it's Sound. :)
Good in use an can take some abuse which is always important.

Makita make excellent power tools I wish we stocked them at work, I have a dewalt which are also fantastic but cost double the amount normally and are only really capable of making good drill/drivers not other tools.

I want one :(

I have a Power Devil one, and it's utter, utter tripe.

A decorator I know uses one of those Makita ones. I'm sure it gets plenty of abuse from her, so it can't be bad. :)

You get that and get that now, You get all those Drill bits with it

Trust me when i say you can never have enough drill bits

Lol i used to have one in my lab...............it now resides in my garage :D

Heheh.
I'm going to order one for myself, my 8 year old 12V AEG is beginning to show its age, it has been very good though.
The lab drill will stay in the lab :p

Another pic of whats included if anyones interested in getting one:

From what I can tell, the drill bits and stuff are provided in a SEPERATE case :)

I'm tempted to get one myself. Have got an old 12v Makita with two duff batteries and an 18v B&D (which although cheap, is actually excellent) but this offer looks almost too good to pass up!

Just my 2 pence worth....
The difference between a cheap drill and an expensive one... the battery.

Good batteries cost a lot... more than the drill in a lot of cases.
