Is This A Good Effort? (BFMV - Hand Of Blood)

Hmm, i found this video (Click) and quite frankly, i thought it was pretty awful at first. But thinking about it, i can't play guitar, nor would i have the courage to even try and sing like that.

So, is it actually a good effort or an embarasment to Bullet For My Valentine?

I havent been playing the guitar long...(10months about)...but the intro guitar riff...well..he played it at one hell of a wrong tempo..then he started speeding up

I thought it was pretty aweful, but that could be the poor quality sound, and having not heard it before. there was a link to the actual song/video on google, and having heard that now i think they didn't do too badly. doesn't help that the original didn't apeal to me anyway, but their cover wasn't really bad i suppose.

Nice to see i'm not alone in thinking it was pretty bad. The drums seemed to be, well it drowned out the average guitaring.

Its really hard to tell. Sound levels seemed to be all over the place so you cant hear if the song is good or not.

Not sure if that is due to a crap recording or levels they set on their gear. Is there a way to tell??
