Is this a good spec for £750?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor (2.4GHz, 1066MHz, 4MB)
Dell 20" Black Wide Flat Panel (E207WFP)
2048MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x1024]
250GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst cache
16X DVD+/-RW Drive
256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro graphics card

If you intend on playing games and thats your budget then I would personally drop the E6600 and go for a 4300 and put the money saved towards a better graphics card, If you aint a gamer then yeah the spec looks fine.

that looks great, although i would say change the GFX to a 7600GT, its a great card for the price and is better than the x1300 iirc :)

Don't have a choice of GFX cards it's a pre-built system. :(

I've a Geforce 6800 GT at the moment so not sure have more/less powerfull a ATI Radeon X1300 Pro is, been out of PC game for a while.

That's a shame, is there no way of being able to change the GFX card? Perhaps give said company a ring? It is a great build apart from the GFX card :(

It might be worth seeing how much it would cost to buy all the parts seperately and then put it together yourself. I know with this build you have a monitor as well, but it seems that where they have given you a good monitor they have perhaps skimped on other parts of the build :)

£50 more, not sure if it suits what you want though?

Intel Core 2 DUO E4300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.80GHz (800FSB) - Retail
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Arctic Cooling T1 Pro Case
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB ST3250620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache
Pioneer DVR-111DBK 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - (Black) OEM
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1950 XT 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI
Belinea 1925S1W 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black/Silver
£800.67 inc VAT

Hard to beat the spec for the money, but includes a better graphics card. Can also be dropped to a X1950Pro for £50 or so off the price.
