Is this a good spec?

Can someone give me the once over on this?

G.Skill 2GB DDR2 NQ PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB ST3250620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775)
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail
FSP Sparkle Blue Storm 2 500W ATX2.0 PSU
Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
Total - £726

I dont want to spend way too much, with my wedding still needing paying for, but want a capable system to play games including Oblivion and Vanguard.

Thanks

Mate, that spec is brilliant, almost identical to mine, the only thing I don't know about is the RAM but as it's G-skill stuff I'm sure its good, it will be excellent once you clock the E6300 and its all up and running :)

GSkill has problems with the Gigabyte DS3/DS4 or at least some of the range does so you will probably need to change either the Ram or the motherboard. Other than that it looks fine, personal preference means I'd change the PSU to a Corsair 520w though, it has the advantage of being modular as well as very high quality. :)

That system would be decent. I play Oblivion on an E6600, 2GB GeIL, 8800 GTS (320MB) with a 19" TFT. I run the game @ 1280 with everything on high AAx4, HDR on, AFx6 and it runs perfect :) Clock the socks off the chip and you would have a mint bit of kit there

Does anyone know if the 8800 fits in an X-Blade case? I currently use this anyway, and would be ideal to keep. That way the missus wont notice the upgrade!

Case Dimensions:
* 19.5 x 8 x 17 inches (L x W x H)

Akasa Zen - 200 x 450 x 500 (WxHxD mm)
X-Blade - 200mm x 430mm x 440mm (WxHxD mm)

The GTS fits in my Zen no problems, you should be fine there although it is the depth you need to be concerned with.
