Is this a good thing to write in an application form? (or how to word it)

OK, so I am applying for an apprenticeship and since I live literally 10 minutes from the employer, at the end of my statement I've written:

"I am available all week and live 10 minutes away walking distance from your office, so I can be quite flexible with the working times."

Now, is something like this going to make me seem 'more attractive' or is not necessary since they can see my address on there? Would you word it differently? :p :O

"I'm available all week whilst living just a short 10 minute walk away"

I don't see the need to say you're flexible with hours when you've said you're available all week.

"I am domiciled 10 minutes walking distance (timed with a Casio calculator watch) from your premises of business, so will be slightly less annoyed when asked to work later than other employees".

I wouldn't say you're available all week, that should be a given since you're applying for a job. I'd probably word it: "I live locally to your premises at X, and am willing to work flexible hours as necessary".

Yeah I thought of this also but figured it was an application for somewhere like ASDA or Tesco - where you pick and choose your availability.

'Your location is ideal to me and I am able to work flexible hours. I am available to start work immediately'.

Or something.

"Although I only live 10 minutes away from your stupid offices, it probably won't stop me tutting and sighing like an uptight schoolgirl when you ask me to change my shift."

That should do it.

"My bed is just 10 minutes away from your office, did I mention I'm really flexible? I don't just mean with my hours..."

I dont understand how you living so close can make you more attractive to a potential employer.....

Unless of course you mean him walking home from the pub one night with his beer goggles on....things could definitely get interesting then....

what did you actually mean? also, why do you want to be attractive to this employer? blackmailing them for a job by offering sex is really bad!
