just purchased another powercolor 6970 from elsewhere as it was cheaper so i could run crossfire but i was that it said 6950 on the sticker on the front of the card . on the back it does say 6970 next to the s/n , how will this effect me if i need to rma it at a later date ? . gpu-z says it is a 6970 so it seems to be right but why the incorrect sticker lol ?

Did it come in a 6970 box or 6950 box?
I'd tell the E-tailor in question.

Check with the supplier, I had an Intel i7 950 (ordered a 960) arrive in a proper Intel box with both 950 and 960 on the outside, it was in fact a 950.

How many/type power connectors does it have? As far as I'm aware the cards are pretty much identical otherwise (assuming it's a standard card).

Edit: 2x6 is a 6950, whilst 1x6 + 1x8 is a 6970.

it has a 6pin and 8pin so it is a 6970 lol , but surely they should have noticed this when it was packed ?
