Hi, ive got an Nvidia 8800GTS 512 Alpha Dog Edition and ive just noticed that when i have dark textures or when u get the black screen as a game is loading then i can see my refresh rate of my monitor with like really faint lines just flickering at the top or bottom of the monitor.

Ive had both the monitor (Acer P193w) and graphics card for about 5 months and never noticed it before.
 
I'd post this in the Monitors section, as it doesn't sound like something your graphics card would cause :)
