Hi guys,

Im having troubles with my new build...about my 14th thread on here! :p

At 1st I thought it was my RAM, but my mate tested it in his machine, and its fine. Memtest on my machine comes up with loads of errors. So it must be the motherboard?

It only boots up when the RAM is in certain slots, this is my 1st build, so Im not used to things going wrong lol :)

Im sure you guys will figure it out!

What are the system specs?
If its amd it could be the mem controller on the cpu, the timings could be wrong, ram volts may be wrong? have you tried all slots with 1 stick at a time?

Do the timmings & voltages need setting up, usualy there is sticker on the modules stating the details, all else fails then yes it could possibly be the motherboard.
