Is This A Problem Or Normal

Hey guys, clocked my machine to 3.2GHZ and thats stable, Orthos (FFts) 9 Hours and Blend 9 Hours as well, Completely stable.

Sometimes i leave my machine over night (downloading) so i revert everything back to stock settings.

Anyway when i change the settings back to my stable overclock of 3.2GHZ, i reset all the values and then save and exit the BIOS. AND it dosent boot up :confused:

, really strange?

Also sometimes i try raising the FSB a bit more, for a slightly higher overclock and it boots into windows then other times the pc wont post at the exact same settings?

Any ideas?

surely if your pc is orthos stable for 9 hours leaving it on over night wouldnt be a problem, but reverting it back to stock speeds would be a lot more hassle anyway?

Yes i understand that, but the point that it does that must mean something right?

Its no hassel though, i just save the stock settings to profile one and my overclocked setting to profile two, takes 30secs to switch from stock - overclocked, overclocked - stock.

Another thing i didnt mention, if ive overclocked my machine, turn my machine of and do something else then come back on, turn the pc on and it wont boot either, it dosent happen all the time, but it does happen?

im really not certain, im new to overclocking. But it does seem like common sense that you should be able to boot it with the same settings you used the previous day.
edit; especially as its not such a huge overclock. Are you just using the stock voltage?

Nope, 1.4v :eek:

. If it wasent Orthos stable then i could understand it but it is.
