Is this a queen wasp? (spider)

Wish I taken a photo of the spider I found hiding under my toilet seat in my bathroom. It was light green in colour and massive. When I chucked him out the window he caught the windowsill and you could hear it thud against it as it was that big!!! You should have seen the size of the fangs on it!!! *shivers*

Don't forget.... always check under your loo seat before you sit down! ;)

Found one in our spare room last night. Terrible photo of it but from the wimbledon guardian link I can definitely say it was a false widow. Skull like backpack and big fangs on front. It didn't stay alive for long.

Getting the hoover out tonight and cleaning every nook and cranny, vents and windows.

I was clambering up the bed and using a nexus 4 with zoom, pic is awful haha I just remember seeing the skull like backpack. I didn't want to get much closer. He looked annoyed

In WA you leave the Huntsman and the Goannas be.

If you go stomping through the Bush The Dugites (or Tiger) snakes maybe get you
Stick your fingers under - stuff, the Red-Backs'll get you
Walk down the street at the wrong time of year & the Magpies'll get you
Go for a night out in Northbridge and the Gorilla's will get you.

Thanks for your update in my thread. Your message was the most meaningful. I cant believe they closed it without even giving me the chance to respond and a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon of me not reading the FAQ's when they did not understand the tone of my message.

To keep in with this thread - I agree - Nuke Aussie Land and get rid of those spiders - The huntsman spider is like a common house spider to them! It gets in cars and everything yuk!!!
