When you asked "Is this a Spoof email", I can only assume there is some doubt in your mind to this load of carp actually being real?

Seriously, if you have no account with egg, why are you even bothering to ask this question?

OP asked a civil question; all that was needed was an opinion of the mail, not a psychiatric assessment ffs.


In answer to the question: I think that it is a spoof mail because it's addressed to "dear customer" and you don't have an account ..... report it or bin it.

But thats what they just said "he doesnt have an account"!
 
I do have an account with Egg, but just through reading the text, you can see it is a scam email.
None of the online banking firms will ever ask you to update your account details via an email, and all you have to do is look at the link to see that it's not going to a proper website.
