So im a complete begineer CPU Overclocker.

So i only have a 1090t with stock cooler and i want to slightly overlock it. Just for a bit of practise before install my new cooler.

So i raised the CPU frquency from 200 to 210
multiplier from 16 to 17.5

3.674ghz speeds 35 idle and 54 prime 95 is this a stable overclock?

if you can run prime 95 for a while (some say 8 hrs, some 24, but whatever your comfortable with) the more you run it without errors the less likely there will ever be an error...

there is no way to say conclusively an overclock is stable, even if you ran prime for 8 hrs and passed every calculation without errors, you could get a BSOD the next day because of instability, its just really really unlikely.

so in answer to your question, run prime 95 for 8 hrs or so and if it doesn't stop part way through saying there's an error on one of the cores then you have a stable overclock (ish)

temps (as long as they are under the Tjmax of the processor) have little relevance

I suggest you read the overclocking guide that's a sticky in this forum

hope this helps
