Is this a UFO?

It's one of those mini clays fired from a different trap.

Or the trapper launching the "driven" clays tried to wind you up by launching a mini in the middle of the driven pair.

It is something shot from the ground to the left of the people off the screen. You watch it enough you will see it come onto the screen from there. It is something that is spinning hence its path curves as it climbs

Ok - here's my Jonathan Creek effort...

Despite it looking like it's in the distance and coming from the clouds... it's actually something very small within a few metre's of the camera (i.e. a tiny fly), giving the impression of enormous speed because of the perspective.

Blown up to full screen it definitely looks like something is moving next to it (wings), so yes, I'd go with very close insect or more distant bird too.

Surely if it was even remotely in the same area as the pigeon one of you would have noticed it.

Maybe you spend so long looking at clay pigeons you forget what a real pigeon looks like.

On watching it more I say you got it with the out of focus insect theory. The flight path of it isn't actually a smooth one like I initially thought it does sway around a bit. I've already seen Bumble Bee's in my garden so it could be something like that.

Uhmm....that's a bird. You can see the wings flapping. :p

It's definitely got wings.

Did someone say the Aliens were coming.

Tinned beans and shotguns it is then.

I see the OP already has his shotgun so he'll be alright then. :D

It's an optical lens/sensor shadow.

Quite common in devices that use compact lens arrangements (like phones, compact cameras atc).
