Is this a worthwhile upgrade?

Hope someone can provide some insight.

My CPU is starting to bottleneck and I'm looking to upgrade a few bits and pieces. This is what I've got at the moment:

-Cooler Master Elite 430 Windowed Case
-Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
-Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Processor (Overclocked to 4.30)
-Raijintek Themis Evo Professional CPU Cooler
-GALAX GeForce GTX 970 EX OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
-Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
-Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 600W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Currently I'm looking to upgrade to the following:

-Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 Motherboard
-Intel Core i5 6600k Processor
-Corsair H80i v2 Liquid CPU Cooler
-G.Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4-2666 16GB (2x8GB) (I wouldn't mind upping my RAM too!)
-Samsung 850 EVO 500GB (Which I will use for my OS and a select few games for those lush load times)

I'm pretty sure my 970 will last another year or so at 1080p gaming. I have no intention of going 1440p+... yet

I'm also not sure if my 600W PSU would suffice, I'm hoping someone would be able to tell me? Otherwise I've been looking at getting an EVGA SuperNOVA G1 650W if I need a little extra power.

I look forward to seeing the responses! Thanks in advance!

Dan

Found this whilst browsing around may be worth a short read!

For 1080p i reckon you should be ok with your system for a short while.
Newer technology near always wins but is it worth the outlay for the performance gain? Only you can decide that :)
If you got the money and you just want to, you may as well upgrade.

Cant see why your PSU would be an issue if your running your 2500k overclocked with no issues!

Wow, thanks for pointing me towards the article. Definitely got an idea or two what to do now.

Though it does raise more questions for myself. Would anyone know where to buy the discontinued I7 3770K? I can only find people selling it 2nd hand worth more than the latest gen i5s!

Also, what faster memory is available and compatible with my build?

Sorry for the questions but I'm a noob when it comes to these things.
