Is this adrenaline?

Hmm, I can't clearly remember the last time I was sick... I think I usually do feel a little shaky beforehand, and a bit sweaty afterwards.

I've had my blood pressure tested quite a few times in the past and it was always normal.

Doesn't mean anything, your blood pressure may be normal every time you go to the doctors but still be an issue at other times. The only way to effectively monitor blood pressure is over a period of time. Your GP will give you a BP monitor to take home and monitor at regular intervals.

In any case, go to the doctor, why are you vomiting? and why to such a degree that it is making your blood pressure drop or spike to such an extent that you feel a rush after you are sick...

The symptoms you describe relate more to blood pressure than adrenaline, and if you are releasing adrenaline prior and after vomiting you still need to see your GP.

It may be nothing, but go anyway, asking on a forum isn't going to give you any answers that actually mean anything.

I've had this for the last 8+ years ... Blood pressure fine, everything healthy, but it was being caused by my ears.

Its how I feel almost everyday now, I am going to try getting iron supplements to see if that helps reduce the symptoms a bit. Generally if I simply turn my head or lean / bend over, I end up with massive vertigo attacks that feel like I'm gong to pass out, but I already have medicines that fix it.

Fortunately I dont vomit, other people who have the same thing as me can end up lying on the floor in a puddle of puke unable to stand up or move themselves :x

....

I doubt that the OP has hearing loss and tinnitus as well, so it wont be the same thing.

I had vertigo for a little while after a virus. I used sea bands, surprisingly they worked.

I get this every time i'm sick.. be it from a dodgy hangover or being ill like a few weeks ago. Had a dodgy stomach for a couple of days, sat on the sofa at home, get the exact same feeling, go to stand up to move to the bathroom... Didnt make it that far, legs went to jelly and sick on the floor! Me = Fail!

I've spoke to GP, as mentioned before may be due to high or low blood pressure, mine is a tad high from time to time.

As other people said - See a doctor :)

WARNING: I'm about to talk about being ill. Click the back button if you're easily grossed out.

Sometimes just before or just after I puke I'll feel a tingling sensation in my skin and I'll feel a little bit shaky. I can also feel the colour drain out of my face and sometimes even my teeth start to tingle.

Does anyone else experience this? Is it caused by adrenaline? If not, does anyone know what actually causes this?

Sounds more like an imminent heart attack than adrenaline

e : read that back and realised it sounded way worse than I meant. To clarify, it sounds nothing at all like adrenaline or the affects it can have. (IMO, IANAD etc etc etc)

Eh heh hee heh heh!

Sounds like you've got a case of....the Heebie-jeebies!

I get it, it's like an early warning system to tell me I'm on the verge of being sick, it's the effect not the cause. (aka the rare time I do drink and over do it, it happens).

For me anyway

i don't see the problem - of course you have lots of nervous and bodily effects when you vomit - its a very extreme thing you are doing. Also you are probably either ill or drunk when it happens anyway.

lots of hypochondriacs in this thread.
