AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 90nm (Socket 939) - OEM (CP-130-AM)

OcUK Value 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 184pin DDR Memory Dual Channel Kit (MY-006-OK)

Samsung SpinPoint P HD160JJ 160GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (HD-024-SA)

Gigabyte K8N51GMF-9 nForce 6100 Micro ATX (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-042-GI)

Antec Aria Micro ATX Cube Case - 300W PSU (CA-021-AN)

I've got an old DVD drive which I could use with the above spec.

Would the PSU be fine for all that? I guess it's 2.0 compatible?

Would I notice a big difference in performance as i'm upgrading from a Sempron 2400+ and 512MB RAM.

Is the Aria quiet?

Cheers.

According to Antec the quietest case in the world but I'm not quite so sure offhand since I haven't used one. I don't think the PSU is ATX 2.0 compliant as such but you can pick up adapters very cheaply for 20-24pins :)

Everything otherwise is compatible and you should notice a significant difference, are you using the onboard graphics then since you haven't specified a graphics card?

What adaptors should I be looking out for mate?

You will probably need a 20-24pin adapter for the motherboard which unfortunately OcUK don't seem to sell however they should be easily available at a local electronics retailer or computer shop :)

I see, and its just a case of plugging one into into the motherboard and the other into the PSU? Cheers for that.

Time to get ordering!
