Is this an upgrade?

Current monitor Dell 2007 WFP

Looking for an upgrade ideally 1920x1200 unfortunately there seems to be a lack of quality monitors of this size. Yes there are some excellent wide gamut monitors in the £500 range, but no thank-you wide gamut is not for me!

So... I'm now considering the Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA 22" E-IPS Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor - Black REV A01

My question is would this actually be an upgrade as my current resolution is 1680x1050

To be honest I've always found everything just a tad too small with the Dell 2007 WFP

Is the REV A01 the latest revision?
