Still not bitten the bullet yet but is the below spec any good?

1 x Intel Xeon X5560 2.80GHz Quad Core Processor with Hyper Threading
12GB DDR2 10600R (3x4GB with 3 slots spare for upgd)
100GB Solid State Drive
1TB SATA HDD
Radeon HD5450 DX11 GFX (VGA, DVI, HDMI)

Im Really getting myself tied in circles with this, I need a 'work' PC with dual monitors just for coding mainly, nothing to taxing Visual studios etc.
What is really throwing me though is visualization. I have no test environment for my work 'onsite' so when I update GP and mess about with the DC its all on a live server. Part of me would like to test this when Im at home but part of me thinks that I should be provided with that testing environment when I'm on site.

Whats the cost difference in been able to VM and not VM?
