Is this anygood?

The Noctua is a very good cooler, as is the Coolermaster V8, although the V8 is a bit larger, it may not fit in your case. Not heard anything on the Triton 88, but if it was really good, I'm sure I would have.
 
Aye, the Noctua is among the best out there atm. The OCZ Gladiator is also pretty good for the price.

I ended up getting the Triton, it arrived today.

Looks great and is well built, will pop that on later.

Edit: I did try to google this but there was limited info, only the manufacturer stuff

Ok well some of this is from memory as I didn't have the old cooler on for long.

Basically, Core i7 920 is clocked at 3.6GHz (1.275V) results as follows:

Stock cooler:

Idle: 40c
Prime: 80c

Titan: Idle 30c
Prime: 60c

Overall really pleased, just need to change my sig now :p
