Is this ATI graphics card ok with this spec build please...

Please can someone tell me if this setup which im going to be buying is okay and my brother really wanted to keep the GPU to the ati range so i came up with that one.

The GPU is fine. The problem is the memory, which is DDR4 but the motherboard is DDR3.

What games does he play at what screen res? I'm wondering if an i3 might be a better match.

P.S. it's AMD these days, they bough ATI in 2006.

Check the card length VS case etc.

380X will be great thanks, and forget the memory i already have some for him now that ddr4 link was a mistake.

You didnt say what your budget was but for an extra £53 you could replace MB/CPU with these and have a faster CPU you can overclock easily to 4ghz+

at the very least get the better motherboard.

I got the impression the brother has a tight budget and/or doesn't want to overclock. If not OP, this is a pretty wise move as these CPUs overclock well!

well not having to spend £28.99 on the memory thats half way there and the more ghz you have to play those games the better. Suppose it depends on the CPU cooler if they are just using the stock intel one no point buying the k class cpu but would still buy a Z97 over a H81.
