Is this bios safe to download?

Personally I would just get F4. You can always flash F5i when it's properly released.

Only try F5i now if you have a problem you can't resolve.

On the other hand, that motherboard has dual BIOS so it probably doesn't matter what you flash to it!
 
yeah it has, but if i screw up one bios i assume i need to change a jumper to select bios 2, after spending all day setting up the pc (i did a bad cable management job :D ) i dont fancy going back in there.

will just use F4 for now then, cheers
 
that was scary!

downloaded the bios to a folder on the desktop, rebooted into bios and used QFlash thing, it didnt pick up the bios, it only searched floppy and not usb/hard drive like it said it would in the manual.

anyway i installed the bios update software from the disk, flashed it through windows which is generally not a good idea i hear, it all went ok then i restarted as prompted.

pc rebooted about 6 times with no display and i though i fluffed it, then it came on.

pheww, i hate scary moments like that :D
 
i just tried overclocking my cpu just a little - 3.2ghz and it restarted about 4 times, i get scared a little when it does that :(
