Maybe check out the Samsung 971D on the offer this weekend at OCUK?

It is a little bit more but I can't say I've noticed such issues as you have with mine (970D so glossy screen instead of matte like the 971D).

I get some PLS glow, but you can tell it's that because moving my head/camera makes it go away, and the only time I really notice it is on a totally black screen which is rare to be honest.

I've had 2 Dells and 2 Viewsonics so far and all have had bad backlight bleed :mad:

Fifth one coming on Monday, I don't have high hopes of a good one
