So I am going to be upgrading my system really soon
Already upgraded the GPU and the PSU,

I would love some of your expert advice on my pickings ;)

New specs
CPU= i7 4790K
Motherboard= Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7 motherboard

I would also like to ask is the h90 a good cooler for the i7 I have picked?

And will this Case Zalman Z11 Plus Midi Tower Gaming Case
work with the Corsair h90 CPU cooler?

I picked out that case as it has 140mm support but on the specs it says = 120mm/140mm Fan Vent just making sure that it will fit :)

thanks for reading my post :)

Alright, so there aren't any top or rear 140mm fan mounts. Only on the front and bottom, and those won't be ideal for a CPU cooler (hose length may come into question) even if there is room for a radiator in either spot (possible but doubtful). I'd switch case unless you can get confirmation from an owner that they have been able to fit a 140mm CPU water cooler. Or use a 120mm CPU water cooler instead. It should fit on the rear, from what I can see.

YOUR BASKET
1 x NZXT Source 340 Midi-Tower Case - Red Window £59.99
1 x NZXT Source 340 Midi-Tower Case - Blue Window £59.99
1 x NZXT Source 340 Midi-Tower Case - White Window £59.99
1 x NZXT Source 340 Midi-Tower Case- Black Window £59.99
Total : £266.89 (includes shipping : £22.45 Ex.VAT).

Can fit a 140mm AIO rad in the front, and there'd be room to add either a 140 or 120mm fan under it. Hose connectors pointing up, like in the pics of the case, instead of down, would give you more room to add an extra fan.

And as for CPU/mobo, I would do as Pastymuncher advises - wait for Intel Skylake, any moment now. Then compare with Devil's Canyon i7-4790K.

Thanks Danny man!, I like the white one, looks really nice, I am assuming the H90 will have enough tube to fit to the front case, and will the motherboard I picked fit in that case, thanks man :)!

Was looking online, as a lot of people have said that the H80i can cool a I7 4790k OC so I may even go with the H80i, as that case after watching a review, does not have a optical drive or good HDD anti vibration support

:confused:I am not that fusy about the case tbh, just want it to be compatible with the H90 cooler :)

Skylake is Haswell's replacement and will be out in a week or two. It's a new chipset (Z170) and a new socket that will be using DDR4. If you are building new then you may as well go for the latest cpu (i5 6600k or i7 6700k).

Yea, the only issue with that, is money :( I am going to wait it will be late Aug before I will be ordering the parts :)
