Building a spare Vista system for myself & am looking for a budget graphics card. I have been looking at the Ati Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB, are these any good? The system will not be used for much gaming, but it would be nice to be able to. Also how will it perform with Vista Aero?
 
Should perform fine with Aero, but as you say not for much gaming, but would be nice to, then id go for the XT as the pro is dire for gaming.
 
Get a X1950 Pro they are much better. (Over twice as fast in Battlefield 2 for instance)

As you can see that's the 2600XT and the X1950 nearly gets double the performance, the X1950 will be even faster than the 2600 Pro.

the 2600xt would be much better than pro.

as above benchmarks are only for a guide, don't read to much in to it. because in "real world performance" its very good...
