Is this card any good?

I've not placed my order yet, and I've noticed that the
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560Ti OC 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card is on special offer... Is this a good choice?

I'll be playing games such as Half-Life GTA4, The Sims 3, FEAR 3, Crysis ect...

I've currently got a 2 year old Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply, hope it would be ok with this GPU......

Yes that is a very good card. Here is a review of it against lots of other high end cards:

That PSU will be fine for a single card, but if you want to go SLI, you will have to increase the wattage.

In my experience (with a GV-N56GSO-1GI, http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3932#ov), the plastic frame holding the fans may prove flimsy, and start making contact with a fan at higher temperatures, which leads to a very annoying rattle.

i may be wrong but is the HD5870 slightly faster for about the same money.

yip go with the 560ti (384 Cores, 560 336 cores), i use a msi 560ti oc to 940mhz, can go higher if you want to over volt, my after burner wont let me for some reason
