Is this compatible with Dell XPS L702X

at the end of the day it's a Dell !!

When I had a Dell Desktop it had DDR3 Ram @1066 i just added some other DDR3 Ram an extra 4 gigs actually..and as i recall it was fine...but it was still @1066...and to be honest it didnt really make any difference anyway

On the XPS does it make a huge difference going for 1333mhz or 1600 mhz ??

Or would it just run it at 1333mhz anyway?
 
recently got the machine, just really want something when I show people the laptop and it working it is impressive.

i will use the laptop for various things, playing the games it can handle, personally I do a lot of downloading, archiving creating Par's etc .

Will start dabbling again with Photoshop and other adobe creative suite etc.

reading up the two different rams i dont think i will personally see a difference just want a pair that can dual channel.

i had in the XPS a 2 gig stick and a 4 gig stick however the 4 gig stick fails memtest so need to upgrade and think may as well get 2 x 4gb sticks that will at least allow me to dual channel.
 
It's a shame when you pay out quite a lot of money for a System from Dell and they claim it can do all these lovely things being a "fast and capable " Computer, But in reality they are not really very good , And after having two Dell systems in my time...I would never go near Dell again , And their gaming systems are crap too.

Anyway...hope you get your issues sorted :)
