Is this core temp variation normal?

x2 3800+ at stock, 1.325v.

Core 1 reporting at 33, whilst core 2 is at 27.

Is this normal for Dual/quad processors?

It's worrying me as i want to overclock and am worrying about temps on core 1.

Yes such difference is not unusual.

My Opteron 185 shows atm core 0 34 & core 1 30. I've seen 'em 6 apart on mine.

Lapping may help , but as never caused any problems have not bothered on either the Opty or the x2 3800 I had before and which also had such a temp difference between cores.
