Is this CPU usage normal for playing WMVHD ?

Lo, playing around with HD trailers I was quite intrigued to see what others on dual core are getting when playing HD trailers, more specifically the new Spiderman 3 Trailer in 720P WMV-HD trailer. Is my usage normal? I have DC Optimizer installed and the AMD A64 driver installed. I do not have the hotfix for XP SP2. I'm using a 4200+ on XP 32bit.

Please run the WMV and QUICKTIME ones, I'd like to see what others are getting for both versions.

Using a X2 3800+ @ stock with a X1800XT.

WMV - around 3%-15%

Quicktime - between 8%- 20%

I think the graphics card can make a difference in the playback of HD videos, this could be why my cpu usage is less than yours.

I'm guessing you have AVIVO installed too ?

Also what x2 drivers do you have can I ask ?

Don't know what AVIVO is, but I don't think I have it installed. Only the ATI catalyst 6.11 drivers are installed.

I don't have any X2 drivers installed either.
