is this current rig ok for a while

hi guys with all this talk of conroe nowadays, is this system of mine ok for the latest games, im a bit of a noob when it comes to building systems but i like to keep up with the latest technology.
my current system is running pretty well, all at stock settings but conroe sounds very good and pretty well priced. if anyone could reccomend a good conroe setup id appreciate it, my budget is about 500 pound for mb cpu and 2gb ram

As long as your system is running fine and it plays as you want then it is fine. I can't tell from here if it suits you for the next while because I don't know what resolutions you play at or how well it copes. I would say though that there is no point in upgrading just because something new comes along, if you do that you will never be happy with what you have.

I really do have to agree here. It depends if its doing what you want, if it is, then you're fine for awhile, if not.. upgrade time =). But you're system is quite new.
