My dads website is www.holmesproperties.co.uk.

We want to integrate the property search feature into the website but im not quite sure how to. At the moment its a new business and were on a budget hence wanting to do it ourselves.

Is it easy enough to do ?

You'll need two things to achieve this:

1) a databse of your homes (Access or SQL)
2) knowledge of a web scripting language (ASP/ASP.NET/PHP)

Easy enough if you know how

. I don't know much programming but I could probably knock something up in a day or so. As above, you'd need to use PHP and MySQL or similar.

Also, it's not so much the search system/database that takes the time to create but the background CMS, ie. adding, editing and deleting entries.

all our propertie stored online, uploaded via a peice of software called vebra. But no i dont have any knowledge of web scripting.
