Is this easy to fix??

Best of luck,i havent been lucky with soldering because i just took of the plastic around the wire and burned the wires together :D

Return it D: Say it just fell apart lol

Warranty ran out a year back :(

Happy days

I know right lol.

Ok so after taking a bit longer opening up this enclosure the wires are now bare! (yay)
Now i have no idea what to do.

There are 3 cable strands; red, green and blue, which i assume make up the audio cable? I need to get hold of some wire cutters, but i could do with some advice on what to do next?

Also i think i messed the mic cable up with the scissors :D (pics below) but i'm not too fussed about that really.

Another little box:

After taking this one apart: :)

Though i think the mic cable suffered: :D

That is terrible. I would strip that crap back and start fresh, looks a right mess...

If you cannot solder these then take it to someone who can, audio wires CAN be soldered so don't listen to people here, you have to know how to do it.

It's an easy job to do professionally, if it was me I would use 3 peices of heatshrink and solder the 3 connections (cover in heatshrink after) and have a larger peice of heatshrink to put over the top of the 3 connections.

You not got a friend who can do it? P.S. Where in London are you?

Yeah i have done. I'll get some pictures up in a bit. There seems to be no sign of a green cable the connection side of things but a copper coloured one instead.

So atm it goes a bit like this.

HEADSET=========(Green, red, blue cable and some thicker copper cable with another little white cable in the middle) BROKEN CONNECTION (Orange, blue red cable for audio connection)(the thicker copper cable for the mic connection).

If that's not helpful lol, you'll see what i mean when i get the pictures up.

Edit: And no i won't be able to get it soldered by myself or a friends.

In Surrey, so probably not close to you i'm guessing.
