Basically the cd drives would not work after case transfer and i connected everything the in the same.

ALL of a sudden a min ago i decided to unscrew the mobo a little bit so it wasnt as tight to the case and NOW the cd drives work, how is this even possible, all i did was unscrew it a little BIT!! :)

I am so relieved but someone please explain to me lol! :D

A happy Chris lol :D

You didn't put a brass stand-off in the wrong place did you?

Unscrewing the motherboard a little might've stopped a rogue stand-off from making a connection.

Could easily have shorted something under the board, and now it's been released again.
Glad to hear you've got it fixed though!

Or you could have overtightened the board, a very common mistake. PCB's are quite fragile and can be stressed if overtightened. Losening the screw may have just relieved some pressure on some 'vital' part of the board that was affecting the disk controller.
