Is this faulty gfx card please help.

so what your telling me is my cards fine when it cant even run 250 constant on the lowest gfx when i have a better card than my freind and he can on a max cfg.. i run bfbc2 on low get 50 fps the card was 170pounds and im getting this sorta fps. hmm

What are we talking about here? You supplied two screenshots of your desktop showing the GPU (rightly so) displaying 2D clockspeeds, you never offered any in-game "evidence" of poor performance :confused:

All graphics card run at a much lower speed when in 2d mode - i.e when you're in windows - to save power.

When you're in a game, the card increases its speed for 3d mode. Look at the screen below :

'GPU Clock' shows the speeds the card is running at in windows.

'Default Clock' shows the speed it will increase to when gaming.


Do what auraindigo suggested & download gpu-z. Run it, click the camera icon in the top right corner to take a grab of it, then post it here.

Assuming everything is fine with your card, I suspect that your cpu is holding the card back.
