I recently purchased 2 X 8GB RAM from the MM

I loaded up a RAM test and within a couple of minutes it showed up some errors

Can this be down to anything else or is the RAM faulty? Are some errors normal?

Looks like it but maybe your RAM channels are damaged? If you got some different RAM to try in them it would be the best place to start.

Is it getting the right volts in the bios? Apart from trying the other slots and trying each stick on its own theres not much more you can do.

Hopefully the seller will sort it :)

If you taking out your old ram, and putting in new ram make sure the new ram is getting the correct voltage and timings.

I did :) Also reset bios to default and still getting errors

Looks faulty to me. I had to return some faulty RAM recently. Do you get BSOD at all when your in Windows?

No BSOD but didn't spend enough time in the desktop to get a good idea

I did read about the RAM before I bought it and a lot of people were saying they had errors in memtest and had to return various times before they got a good set

Don't recall ever hearing of them. Doesn't mean they are a bad brand per-se.

Load into desktop and see If you get a Blue screen after 15 minutes or so browsing the web, or whatever you usually do on your computer. Even so I would RMA If Memtest picks up errors. Memory errors can be such a pain.

Just out of curiosity, Is that the latest version of Memtest your running?

They were purchased from the MM so trying to get it resolved through the seller first - As far as I know it's the latest version of memtest I tried Windows in built memory tester as well and that picked up errors to
