Is this feasible?

Hi everyone, I hope this is in the appropriate section.

I have been offered an original full size Operation Wolf arcade machine, it is in good working order. This is great, however space in the man cave is very limited so giving over such a large amount of it to just one game seems wrong:)
I am hoping to utilize the gun and screen and do a sort of dual boot op wolf/emulator machine setup and run all those old school light gun games that I have been unable to play since I had a crt telly! What do you guys think, would it even be possible? Would it simply be a case of linking up the screen to the pc and the buttons on the gun to maybe the buttons on a joypad? Which could be all mounted inside, leaving the outside of the game case untouched and looking retro and stock!!

If i had to lose the original functionality of the machine it isn't a problem.

Sounds like a hair brain idea that might work:)

No idea myself of how the gun in op wolf interfaces with the screen/pcb myself, id suggest if you don't already know it, head over to the UKVAC forum.

That's the godlike place for all things arcade related.

I converted an old 18 wheeler arcade machine into a fighting game cab that connected to my XBox 360 so it can be done. It depends on the interface of the monitor, which is often a variance of VGA which only requires minor modding to use.
