Is this for real?

What if you had one with, prepare yourself now, big rotors! Problem solved!

like this?

I take it you didn't watch the link I posted?

Try strapping that onto your single rotor design ;)

its flying with an empty box... the video with the actual beer barely gets off the floor
its also 6 rotors with fairly big props on them.

my heli could apparently lift around 7kg but not with any useful altitude the rotor diameter is 62inches though which is pretty big

edit actually i found a video of someone with a stock trex 700 lifting 13.7kg of bricks almost exactly 3x its own weight and he claims it could lift more but he didnt want to ruin his heli.

62 inches is massive, what have you got?

Mines only 700mm ish, 28 inches.
trex700 each blade is 700mm rotor diameter is obviously double that.

I started with a hobbyking 250 which was stupidly hard to fly because of its size, bigger = more stable

these arent mine but the small one is a 450

the largest a 700

So Arknor, you're massive helicopter can lift big weights, so could a large quadcopter, end of discussion.
It's like me saying because my little rc I got for christmas can't lift big weights that it means no helicopter can lift big weights. "Oh, they've all got little rotors, they're rubbish".

Big beast, I bet that cost a pretty penny.

My biggest is a Trex 450 clone.

Your video above proves that weight isn't really an issue.

The smallest looks like a 250.

250, 450, 500 (600?) and 700?

If that little one is a 450 I do feel inadequate in such company :o
