Read somewhere (don’t remember where) that it has a machining fault over the VRM's????

the ek blocks are fantastic.

i have fitted that 5970 block to three cards now and had brilliant results each time.

i use EK blocks a lot and rarely see them with imperfections or faults

they have improved a lot recently since they introduced their new QC screening process

I've had no particular experience with this exact block. However, I do swear by EK blocks and have had no issues with any of the ones I've used so far. I doubt they're going to make a slip up on a block as important as for the 5970!

rjkoneill what temps did you have on the VDDC's as this is a problem area for 5970 OC...
